Every Website is unique and deserves a design that represents them in their vision on the Web.  The identity of a company, organization, or other on the Web cannot be constructed based off of a cookie-cutter concept.  Therefore, at Designerduck.com all sites are created and quoted based off the needs of the client.

Proposed Timeline for Site Construction

• Week 1-2: Color scheme and core design of the site:

• During this process a testing server will be created with a link provided for you to view the progress of your site.  Once the color scheme for the site is established (usually based of logo colors) a series of sample designs will be provided.  The final design will be both visually appealing and browser friendly to ensure the design is consistent in all Web browsers.

• This process varies from 1-2 weeks pending upon timely communication between the designer and customer.

• Week 3-4: Population of the site: 

• Once the Website design is established the site will be populated with the information provided by the customer.  The process will include editing text and how it appears in the Web browser.

• This process varies from 1-2 weeks pending upon timely communication between the designer and customer.  The designer is not responsible for spelling or grammatical mistakes provided by the customer.  Customer is responsible for proof reading since Designerduck.com may not be an expert in the content of the site.

• Week 5: Functionality editing and troubleshooting of the site:

• All additional corrections will take place during this time in an in preparation to move the completed Website to the actual Web location.

• Functionality such as Flash animation, drop down menus, or other dynamic features will be polished and completed.

This timeline is subject to change with each site pending upon communication with the designer and customer.

Maintenance

Designerduck.com will maintain the site for the specified monthly fee which will include updating and overseeing the following:

• Ensuring the Website is live and functioning online
• Correcting existing text
• Editing format of existing text
• Adding information
• Minor graphical updates

Major graphical editing such as a site redesign is not included in the updating cost.  Any major graphical editing after the completion of the final site will be at an additional cost.
